|Individual, as-needed, instruction in the use of
the library is a service provided by the library staff.
Library users are provided with guidance in the use of library
resources and materials as well as research methods.
A Library Research Tips handout is available for online and traditional students.
The TCCC Library web page is designed to assist students in the use of library resources both on campus and at home.
Group instruction sessions are designed to teach library users how to locate the information they need quickly and effectively. BI usually covers a tour of the the library, organization of materials, using the online library catalog and web page, research methods, and specific resources including books, NCLIVE databases and online sources.
Instructors may schedule BI sessions at least one week ahead of time by contacting the library staff.
